Add photos and log each visit. Next year you will know what you found, and when.
Mark the months a spot is good. Forage also learns them from your visits.
Download a region before you head out. The map keeps working when the signal drops.
A straight line to your spot, with distance and bearing. Handy when the trail runs out.
Export your spots as GeoJSON and import them again. Star favourites to find them fast.

Forage never identifies a species and never tells you something is safe to eat. “Probably ready” is a weather-based estimate for a spot you already know, not an identification. You are responsible for what you pick. If you are not sure, ask a local expert, and leave it.
